Last week, Peec had the privilege of participating in the fourth edition of Investopia 2025 in Abu Dhabi — an influential global platform that brings together government officials, industry pioneers, and forward-thinking policymakers from around the world.
This year’s event placed a powerful emphasis on advancing circular economy strategies — an area at the heart of our mission at Peec. As countries and corporations work to transition from linear consumption models to more sustainable, regenerative systems, circularity is no longer a niche idea — it’s a necessity.
Our Chief Strategy Officer, Luca Cappuccitti, represented Peec at the event and held meaningful discussions with key figures shaping the UAE’s economic and environmental future, including:
- H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq – UAE Minister of Economy
- Abdulla Ahmed Al Saleh – Undersecretary, UAE Ministry of Economy
- H.E. Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa – Chairman, Department of Municipalities and Transport
- H.E. Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi – UAE Minister of Investment and Deputy Chairman of Masdar
These conversations reinforced the shared vision between Peec and the UAE leadership: to accelerate the transition to a circular economy and create more sustainable cities.
Peec’s Role in Circular Mobility
At Peec, we’re proud to be helping define what circularity means for the future of transportation. By converting existing combustion engine vehicles to electric, we’re able to reduce carbon emissions by 27% compared to manufacturing new EVs — all while preserving materials, design heritage, and urban infrastructure.
Our ReFleets offer governments and businesses an opportunity to meet their 2030 climate goals up to 2x faster, all while minimizing financial and environmental costs. This model not only makes economic sense — it also empowers cities to take bold steps toward a cleaner, more resilient future.
As we continue to grow, we remain deeply committed to playing an active role in the global circularity movement — designing systems that are not just sustainable, but smarter, more efficient, and more human.
